can we install show slow in windows??? if yes then how??? please help me out...

It's *AMP application and should run on Windows too. At least a few people reported that it works. Download the packaged version and use alternative way for DB setup (running dbupgrade.php and users/dbupgrade.php) and you should be all set. --Sergey Chernyshev 15:49, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm trying to install showslow on my localhost under windows to evaluate it but have a few problems.

1. I get an error as follows when I go to http://localhost/showslow/: "Notice: Undefined variable: instanceAdmins in C:\wamp\www\showslow\users_config.php on line 23"

2. Where do I actually define the range of URLs I wish showslow to test? All I see on the page is "No data is gathered yet". --U982744 01:55, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

It's best to ask these questions on a mailing list - there are a few people there who run ShowSlow on Windows and should be able to help: http://groups.google.com/group/showslow

That being said, first notice you're getting is just it - notice, not an error. It seems that you've enabled notices to be sent to the user. I did initialize the variable just now so it'll go into next version.

Number 2 is more complex - basically, you need to run your own testing automation tools to generate actual test data. See Main Page#Automated testing for more details.
